These camshafts are dyno matched to Edelbrock's Performer RPM Power Packages. They feature more aggressive profiles than conventional cams without excessive valve overlap and are intended for street high-performance and racing applications using OEM or Edelbrock hydraulic roller tappets (not included). Roller tappets reduce friction, virtually eliminate break-in problems, and permit higher valve velocities for increased performance.
